Why was the ATS formed?

The ATS was formed with the belief that there are multiple benefits to being associated with companies that possess different specialties from the same Internet industry. Frequently, companies are asked to provide their clients with services that are either beyond their scope of expertise or outside their geographic service area.

Our solution in 1999 was to provide our members with qualified specialists in a range of technology areas. We establish knowledge base of what each other does and establish communications links among members of the group. Through the ATS website, companies can share information to facilitate a better, more profitable business relationship. No longer will a company have to say 'no' when their client requests specialized work. ATS members can feel confident that qualified specialists can be easily found in our directory.

How do ATS members benefit?
Our members' ultimate goal is to increase awareness of capabilities. Through an alliance with other companies they can expand the services that they can offer, which will provide more work and increase sales. All members are encouraged to provide referrals to other members. The ATS seeks to connect companies with other companies that have different capabilities or are located in different geographical locations. We are actively seeking those companies who see a need for such alliances in their industry. Ideally, our members will be a group of businesses who can rely on each other to provide the assistance.

Who qualifies to be an ATS member?
The ATS is not designed to be a "yellow pages" style directory that anyone can join - we qualify only businesses that meet certain standards. ATS specifically chooses technology-related businesses that provide synergies with our present membership. We look to include in our membership established companies with strong reputations who are experts in their field. The ATS seeks to have a membership that is diverse in its areas of expertise and its geography.

How does ATS select members?
The ATS membership council reviews every application and attempts to identify potential qualified business partners. The council strives to understand the applicant's qualifications within their specific technology field. After the council has approved the applicant, the applicant is posted in our directory.

What's the difference between a local, regional and national provider?
A local provider is a company that services only a particular state. A regional provider is a company that can service multiple states in a confined geographic area. A national provider is a company that can provide all their services to any company, anywhere in the continental United States.

How do I enroll my company in ATS?
Simply submit your company through the registration form on the site. A few days after the council reviews the documentation and researches your company you will receive a email notice. If accepted, your company will become an active member of ATS and appear on the website's directory.

What is the cost for being a member of ATS?
Nothing. We ask that member support the site and other members but we require no dues.
